Nicole Cheung grew up in Hong Kong and lived in New York, London and Vancouver. She attended the Parsons School of Design New York, where she studied fashion marketing and graphic design.

She works predominantly in the medium of photography, and also includes oil painting in her large scale artworks. While her main focus is on landscape photography, currently she also explores using the wet plate collodion processing techique for her photographic works. She has had joint shows in Sheila C. Johnson Design Center New York, Hong Kong Cultural Centre Exhibition Gallery, as well as Hong Kong Central Library Exhibition Gallery.

She is now an active contributor for Art+Commerce/PhotoVogue Italia.

She currently lives in Hong Kong.
